General Equivalence Mappings (GEMs) and Clinical Documentation Strategies Related to ICD-10-CM/PCS

Led by Ann Zeisset, RHIT, CCs, CCS-P, a noted authority on ICD-10, this session will focus on how mappings between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10 CM/PCS will play a critical role in the successful transition to ICD-10-CM/PCS. This program discusses the GEMs and areas of ICD-10 that will be problematic without specific documentation.
